A lifelong Haldimand resident,fishing has always been a part of me. From catching Suckers in the creek,keeping a fishing pole in my locker,or biking a couple of miles to throw my line in just the right spot in Lake Erie,fishing was a passion. Experiencing a stroke at 40, transformed the weekend pastime into therapy. An opportunity on the Bay of Quinte in 2018 led to spending summer days with the old timers,listening to stories of when,where and how they fished, and thats where the Walleybum was born.
